At Gonville Academy, we support every child to be successful and achieve their goals. We have high expectations of each child and strive to remove all barriers to learning whilst building children’s confidence and resilience. Each child at Gonville is a valued and special member of our community.
We understand the need to work closely with children, parents and carers and external support in order to ensure any additional needs are identified early and supported appropriately.
Whilst class teachers hold the responsibility for every child in their class, our SENCO (Special educational needs coordinator), Georgina Bateman, oversees the provision for all children with additional needs. She can be contacted through the academy office:
